A short film based on the stories told throughout Sappho's "If Not, Winter" Sopphie (Sappho) finds herself overcome by a newfound romantic interest in her best friend, Kytherine (Kythereia/Aphrodite), and inherent envy towards Kytherine's boyfriend, Aris (Aries). Ultimately, Kytherine comes to return this interest, though Sopphie prompts herself to move on upon recognizing the force behind Kytherine's feelings to be unnatural. Created as my final project for the class "Literature Humanities" at Columbia University.
